If this question has been asked before, I apologize. I did a search and couldn't find anything. Are metal detectors allowed on St. John beaches? This topic has been closed to new posts due to inactivity.
Metal detecting on the beaches – Travel Message Board – U.S. Virgin Islands
Is Metal Detecting allowed on public beaches? I'm hoping it is if done very early in the morning or after the crowds leave and before dark. I don't think it's allowed. Let me see if I can find a thread that quotes the law.
We are arriving Dec 4th and leaving Dec 11th. I plan to do alot of Beach and Water Metal detecting while I'm there and perhaps a little land hunting if I can find a spot. I would love a partner to hunt with for fun and saftey.
My husband is an avid metal detector. Is it possible for him to do this at Caneel Bay and other resorts where we are not staying , or are their beaches considered "private"? He is often a hero with guests when he finds something that they have lost, but the hotels can have issues sometimes.
Julia Gillard hasn't been Prime Minister in Australia since 2013. This is like someone talking about Alison Redford, Premier of Alberta as a relevant leader.
